MATTRESS & MATTRESS WITH BLOOD GUIDE

Professional Carpet Cleaning Guide – Biohazard Stains (Blood, Faeces, Urine)

Note: Multiple applications may be required to reduce staining. PPE must be worn and all equipment disinfected after use. Biohazard training is recommended.

Step 1: Prepare Pre-Spray Solution

  • Mix High Power Urine Neutraliser and Mattress Pre-Spray at 500ml per litre of water.

Step 2: Apply Pre-Spray

  • Apply a heavy amount of pre-spray to the affected area using overlapping passes.

  • Allow the solution to dwell for 15 minutes, during which it will break down soils.

Step 3: Agitation (Optional)

  • After dwell time, use manual or mechanical scrubbing methods to further agitate the carpet fibres.

  • This step is not always necessary, depending on the severity of the staining.

Step 4: Rinse Extraction

  • Prepare your rinse solution by mixing WS Stain Repel Rinse at 30ml per 10 litres of clean water.

  • Rinse extract the carpet slowly and methodically using your cleaning wand.

Step 5: Cleaning Passes

  • For every wet pass, follow with at least two dry passes to help remove residual moisture and soils.

Step 6: Repeat if Necessary

  • If staining or residue remains, repeat Steps 2–5 until the area is clean.

Step 7: Deodorising

  • High Power Urine Neutraliser and Mattress Pre-Spray will deodorise the area.

  • Additional deodoriser can be applied if required.
