Professional Carpet Cleaning Guide – Spot Treatment for Heavy Soiling on Synthetic Carpets

Step 1: Spot Treatment

• Apply High Performance Pre-Spray at 250ml per litre to heavily soiled areas.

• Transfer as much of the soil as possible onto a white cotton terry towel.

Step 2: Extraction

• Once no further transfer occurs, extract using High Performance Rinse at 30ml per 10 litres in your machine.

Step 3: Cleaning Passes

• Make slow passes using your cleaning wand.

• For every wet pass, follow with at least two dry passes.

Tip: On polypropylene and polyester carpets, zig-zagging or “shark’s teeth” will not permanently disrupt the pile, but for a professional finish, maintain a uniform pass pattern.

Step 4: Deodorising (Optional)

• High Performance Pre-Spray does not deodorise.

• A deodoriser can be added to your rinse tank or lightly sprayed over the carpet at the end of the process.
