Professional Carpet Cleaning Guide – Very Low Maintenance (VLM) Carpets
Equipment Required: Slow-speed rotary floor cleaner or orbital machine, and an agitation/zebra pad.

Step 1: Prepare Pre-Spray Solution

• Mix High Power VLM Pre-Spray at 15ml per litre of water.

Step 2: Apply Pre-Spray

• Apply a liberal amount of pre-spray to the carpet using overlapping passes.

• Allow the solution to dwell for 15 minutes, during which it will break down soils and deodorise the carpet.

Step 3: Mechanical Agitation

• Spray your pad with High Power VLM Pre-Spray.

• Make slow, overlapping passes using your rotary or orbital machine over the pre-sprayed area.

Tip: This step not only deodorises the carpet but also applies a protective film to help prevent re-soiling.

Step 4: Chewing Gum Removal (Optional)

• For chewing gum, mix High Power VLM Pre-Spray at 50:50 (1 litre per 1 litre water).

• Apply as a spot treatment and gently lift the gum from underneath.Note: The gum will release easily without the need for harsh solvents
