Today’s clean was for a woman with dementia, booked in by a family member.
When we arrived, the porch was unfortunately covered in several piles of very runny poop and as it was the only way in, I cleaned it up straight away.
While chatting to her, I casually asked where the dog was. She turned to me and said she didn’t have a dog. I was a bit confused, but carried on.
About five minutes later, she asked where “it” had all gone, so I gently explained again that I’d cleaned it up for her.
Long story short… it turns out it wasn’t the dog after all 😔
It definitely got me thinking how many others out there have similar stories like this?
